Village Green

Jewish Culture Month

Village Green created the visual identity for Jewish Culture Month, a new British cultural initiative showcasing a busy programme of events across the UK.

The inaugural launch celebrates British Jewish culture, community and creativity through film, art, food, music, design and literature.

Jewish Culture Month follows the success and recognition of established cultural dates such as Black History Month, and is supported by leading arts and cultural institutions including Tate, V&A and BBC.

Reflecting on the historic contribution of British Jewish culture at a time of heightened social and political discourse, Jewish Culture Month celebrates the importance of representation and community cohesion with an open-to all theme of positivity and inclusivity.

Our visual identity supports a contemporary expression of Jewish culture – avoiding the familiar or clichéd, to reflect the ambition for an engaging brand rooted in cultural exchange.

In collaboration with the client team, we created a universal evergreen visual identity, accessible to a range of audiences that balances a clean and functional typographic palette with a characterful and confident logomark.
